Brodsky, Greenblatt, Renehan & Pearlstein, Chartered (BGR&P), one of the largest and most experienced family law firms in the State of Maryland, was founded by Jackson Brodsky in 1950.  Mr. Brodsky (1914-2002) was once an icon in the domestic relations field.  He was admired and respected by clients and colleagues, and oft-times feared by his adversaries.  He developed a reputation for the highest quality and aggressive legal representation that the firm is so well known for today.  Mr. Brodsky was joined by Jeffrey N. Greenblatt in 1973, and the two were later joined by Bryan Renehan in 1977.  The firm became known as Brodsky, Greenblatt & Renehan, Chartered in 1980.  Brian K. Pearlstein joined the firm in 1995 and became a partner in 2001.  In January 2007, the firm changed its name to Brodsky, Greenblatt, Renehan & Pearlstein, Chartered.
